Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Brighton

I’m George, a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

I help people to untangle their thoughts and feelings, build their confidence, and develop skills to move forwards in life with a sense of direction and purpose. I offer both face to face sessions in Brighton and remote therapy via Zoom.

I know how difficult it can be to consider speaking to a professional, so please feel free to have a look around, take a look at the free resources I’ve collated, and get in touch if you think I might be a good ‘fit’ for you.

Warmly, George (they/them)

What therapy do you offer?

I am accredited in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and I also incorporate learning from other techniques from mindfulness, ACT, and compassion-focussed therapy.

What can therapy help with?

I have experience working with common mental health difficulties including depression, worrying, low self-esteem, trauma, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety and more. I have a particular interest in working with ADHD and Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and those in the LGBT+ community. For other frequently asked questions please click below, or contact me for any specific queries.

Is there anything I can start doing now?

There are thousands of resources available online for free that can help you to gain a better understanding of your mental health and how to manage it from the comfort of your own home. It can be difficult to know which ones to trust, so I’ve curated a few of my favourites on my resources page which you can view by clicking below.
